Distance Education Registration Process
RCC students, those who are seeking a degree from RCC, must register for both
on-campus and distance education classes by meeting with their advisor(s). RCC
students can register online via Campus Cruiser. Students must contact their advisors via phone or
email prior to registration before using WebAdvisor to register. Also, please see additional steps listed below.
- In addition to registration and payment, students taking Distance Education courses at Randolph for the first time, must create an account
on the Virtual Campus (Create Account). As part of the account creation process, students will be automatically be
directed to take an On-Line Learning Tutorial. This tutorial is REQUIRED for new distance education students and will take around 10-20 minutes to complete. Completion of this tutorial and
the registration process (above) are required before you will be given access to your course(s).
- Some Distance Education Courses have mandatory on-campus meetings (course sections than end in 50, 51, 60, 61, 62, and 69,). The schedules for
these workshops and other course information are posted on the Virtual Campus site (Fall 2009
Schedule). Make sure you review all information
available for your course(s). If you have any questions, e-mail general_info@virtualrandolph.org or
call (336)633-0263. Course content questions should be directed to course instructors. Instructor e-mail addresses are available on the course schedule page and can be accessed by simply clicking
on the instructor's name for each course.
**After your tuition fees are paid, you may purchase your books online by going to CampusCruiser and
clicking on the "Buy You Books Online" link located under the "Around Campus" menu on the left side of the web page. To make arrangements to purchase
